Pretty cool atmosphere. We went when they first opened and the waitress and management were very accommodating to us out of townwers. We had the fried goat cheese balls the fish & chips and the fish sandwich. All with truffle fries. It was delicious and. Didn't last long. Excellent experience we will be back for sure
Had a great time this past weekend. Great music, good food and fantastic service. Our waiter Izaiah went above and beyond. He had great recommendations for food and drinks and consistently checked back in on us during the evening to ensure that we were okay. Our bartender Jay was awesome!. He makes THE very best drinks and is just so awesome to be around. Drinks and laughs; you can’t beat that. Overall would definitely recommend this restaurant.
I visited John Martin’s Irish Pub & Restaurant to watch a soccer game. While doing that we ordered food and beer. The food is great and John our waiter was amazing. Totally recommended!
Melissa, who just joined the team a month or two ago was amazing, she answered all my questions on whiskey and she was super friendly. New to Miami but a friendly face to be sure! I was super impressed by the whiskey selection! Ask for the Bartender Melissa!
I had the pleasure of visiting John Martin's Pub and Restaurant in the city of Coral Gables on St. Patrick's Day. It was an incredible experience. From the moment we walked in, the lively ambiance, complete with a DJ and awesome music, set the perfect tone for the afternoon. The restaurant was bustling with people, and there was a festival happening outside in the street, with John Martin's as one of the main sponsors. Despite the crowd, we were seated promptly and handed the menus. Our appetizers, chicken with sesame seeds and the irish nachos were simply delicious. For our main course , we opted for the Fish and Chips accompanied by fries. Our waitress was exceptional, ensuring that we were well taken car of throughout the afternoon, despite the busy atmosphere. I appreciated the option of both indoor and outdoor seating, providing flexibility for my guests. Additionally, the availability of valet parking or street parking was convenient. I am planning to return and bring my friends and family, it's a fantastic place where you can truly feel like family. Highly recommend!
I came here yesterday with my girlfriends for Galentine's, and boy, did we have a great time! The entire place was transformed into The Love Shack for a Valentine’s pop-up, and it felt so festive. For drinks, I tried the Berry Amour, and it was amazing. As for the food, it was surprisingly delicious. I had the mini pork osso bucco, which was much better than I had anticipated, along with burrata and Irish nachos with added brisket. The burrata paired wonderfully with the butternut squash and roasted beets. The Irish nachos cheese tasted different, as it was made with Guinness beer, but it was still delicious. The service was fantastic, despite the place being packed. There was also karaoke, and at one point, the entire place sang together. I absolutely enjoyed my time and would definitely return to this establishment.
This has been one of my favorite spots for over 20 years, even with the new ownership at the helm. It’s still my go-to Irish pub and restaurant. First thing’s first. Huge shoutout to our waitress, Melissa. She was amazing from beginning to end. Melissa was attentive, gave some amazing recommendations, and made sure we had our drinks filled. She was the real MVP. Now to the food... I had their fried goat cheese to start things off and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend it. When it came time for a main course, I opted to try their brisket flatbread. Y’all, this was probably the best flatbread I’ve had, it was very good. All of these were recommendations from Melissa and she knocked it out of the park. I had Guinness the entire night and it was perfect. The cocktails my friends had were also very good. Everyone enjoyed their drinks. Overall, John Martin’s still gets a 10/10 from me. Love this place and will continue to come here with friends and family.
Had pleasure of trying this pub for Spice Brunch. Menu was creativity and unique. Food was good. I had the meatballs app n wife whatever was that strawberry-ish. Portion were big. Had unlimited mimosas option. Service was attentive n friendly. Not true Irish Pub but still had the decorated to make u feel comfortable. Doggy friendly. Food was good n dessert had a twist on local favorites. Would go back.
